Dr. Chartock is married to Dr. Roselle Kline Chartock, a professor of education at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams who has edited a widely acclaimed book on the Holocaust. The Chartocks live in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, and have two children, Jonas and Sarah.
Jonas is the Executive Director of the State University of New York Charter Schools Institute, and lives in Albany, NY.
Sarah is an Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics at The College of New Jersey, and lives in New York City.
